Default The Suffragists or Suffragettes

Who had a bigger impact in getting the vote for women -

The Suffragists or Suffragettes.
I personally think the Suffragettes were. Their actions before words idea had a bigger impact to the governement. The Suffragettes never failed to get themselves in the headlines and keep the public talking, especially with the Emily Davidson case at the 1913 derby. I think it all got the governement talking and considering the idea of giving the vote to women. However saying that I believe the suffragists sealed the deal. They showed that women could do things in a peaceful and political way, seeming profesional and able to vote wisely, although without the suffragettes help, keeping the cause in the media, the governement would have take no notice of the suffragists.

What are your opinions on this?
