That's polite really, given how we generally refer to your team around here.
I seriously have no time for Ferdinand. I think the fee you paid for him was ludicrous, and I'm not fussed on seeing him in an England shirt, either. Heinze is a class act, without a doubt. I despise Neville with every bone in my body, but can't deny his ability as a footballer. I read a comment he made not too long ago, which softened my opinion towards him ... a little. He basically said that he doesn't hate all Scousers, but his issue with Liverpool stemmed from growing up in Manchester and realising that all of his friends were Liverpool supporters. I feel the same way about the number of your team's shirts that used to be about (mainly over the water on the Wirral), but you're as likely to see Arsenal shirts as anything else lately.
Do you really think that Scholes can still cut it? He's certainly lost a few yards in recent seasons, and hasn't been able to find the back of the net in a while either, though he was a constant threat in the past. I don't think anyone will ever see the best of Smith unless there's a Leeds shirt on his back. O'Shea is a decent utility player though. I was surprised to see Neville allowed to leave actually, and you certainly could've done with him this season. I haven't seen too much of Park yet, and still have doubts whether he's there as a player that was really wanted, or as a ploy to interest the Asian market. Ronaldo is extremely annoying with his ballet dancing antics on the ball, but he's extremely quick and can fly through most teams before they can get anywhere near him. He is greedy as you say, but his potential is incredible.
I never like to make predictions about games in advance, as I've said here before. I'm very superstitious about that. My prediction earlier in this thread prior to yesterday's game doesn't bother me too much though, as I think we gave a good account of ourselves other than for the slip-ups that led to the goals and the lack of bite up front. But I don't think we have much to fear against you, and would be as confident even if you were at full strength. I was at Cardiff a few years ago, and from then on, the intensity has never been anything like the same.
