Celebrity Big Brother producers have reportedly been left stunned by a number of strange demands from the show's lineup.

The new batch of housemates have asked bosses to bring in a butler and pet dog when the series kicks off on Sunday night, according to the Daily Star.

A mosquito net, 500 mini candles and a fridge full of champagne are also said to be desired by the forthcoming contestants.

A show insider said: "We are used to some weird demands but this lot are more bonkers than usual. I think some of them believe it's going to be a holiday camp."

Vinnie Jones, Paul Gascoigne, Alex Reid and Lady Sovereign have all been tipped to enter the house this weekend.

The words 'pet dog' stand out for me because Paris Hilton is often seen with her Chihuahua, Tinkerbell. I can't really imagine any other celebrity who's been rumoured requesting to bring in a pet dog, but Paris I can.
