WILL Chantelle and Preston perform a duet at their forthcoming wedding? Will Chantelle’s hair extensions be longer than the train on her dress? Will George Galloway be the best man?
When will the honeymoon end?
There is much excitement surrounding the news that the Celebrity Big Brother winner and the Ordinary Boys singer are to wed.

But when is the big day? Chantelle answers that question in the Sun. “We haven’t set a date but it will be at the end of the summer,” says she.

Summer is often a slow time for hard news, and it will be good after weeks of reading about baking temperatures on the beach, babes in bikinis and how sand is not as sandy as it used to be to get back to real news.

But can Chantelle give us a few clues of what we can expect? “At the moment I don’t really care,” says she. “As long as me and Preston get married that’s all that matters.”

Nice answer. Sweet. But ultimately wrong. The fans demand more than a private civil ceremony. We want the full meringue.

Of course this will be a big do. And while the choir boys are booked, the massive cake baked and the showbiz magazine’s compete for the picture rights, Preston is planning for the future.

As the Sun says, the singer has just splashed out £400,000 on a three-bedroom duplex flat five minutes from the sea at Brighton.

The paper says this is a wedding gift to Chantelle. A pal says that he plans to show it to her this week. She has no idea about it – not unless she reads the Sun. “She’ll be over the moon,” says the source. “It shows how much he loves her.”

As buying a place once showed how much Preston loved his ex-fiancee Camille Aznar. The Sun watches a “Sold” sign go up outside the home Preston once shared with Camille.

But history will not repeat itself. And very soon Chantelle and Preston will be strolling arm in arm over Brighton’s stony beach.

And into a very pink sunset...
