Right, just recently my laptop fan been a lot louder than usual. I've tried leaving a lot of space between the fan and a surface so as not to block the vent but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

I always have used my laptop on my lap and I'm aware that it gets hot, so I'm assuming that is what has caused this?

Also, today the volume keeps dimming to low level at points when I'm playing music.

Is there any way I can stop these problems? Is my laptop about to die? Because that's what I've been reading on the internet. Any help appreciated
