It only "means" something if you actually see it in her art and music. I don't believe for one second that as soon as fans saw those cigarette glasses they knew it was a symbol of addiction. How is that even related to the song? If you have to explain everything you ever do, what's the point of that? If your fans have to read interviews about the meaning of your music, it's not really "getting it", is it? And I don't like the holier than thou attitude from her fans because I don't want to give her the time of day. It's difficult not to! She's everywhere I ****ing walk!
