Hi Mairi.
 This is the painting I found on this website. Sorry it's so small, but you have to subscribe to the site to get access to a larger version.  The Dogs' Dinner, 1884 (oil on canvas), by Robert Alexander [1840-1923]. For more information please contact the Bridgeman Art Library on 020 7727 4065 and the Fleming-Wyfold Art Foundation on 020 7282 4489 Haven't found any more information on Robert Alexander so far, but I'll keep hunting! |
