I certainly agree England should've won but the whole red card thing is something I'm not going to argue with. Although...I do agree that some Portuguese players should have been sent off, which is where more unfairness comes in from the referee.

Its about WHO sent him off,it was a yellow card at the most and his team mate is totally to blame.The actual 'tackle' happened after a tussle with Rooney and two portugal players,Ron##### was nowhere near at the time.

What's to say everything happened because of him though? Were you there? I agree he played a part in it, but for one thing he's playing AGAINST Rooney so obviously he's going to play for his own team! And secondly everything happened right in front of the referee so he saw what was going on. I'm not going to argue because there's no point. All I'm going to say is that whilst I don't agree with the red card thing, I do agree that the referee should've sent some Portuguese players off. Also that England is the better team and totally deserved to win, because even with 10 players who aren't publicised that much they played brilliantly.

What do you mean was I there???NO but I watched the replay on tv about 5 times.Watch it again the ref was not I repeat not going to punish Rooney any more than a yellow card(if that) for the fowl.What Goofey did was just totally out of order,professionals who demand cards against rival players are universally hated by football fans.Its because it was for counrty that the actions were even more maddning.
Even if we had won Ronaldo had still taken away the dreams of his team mate by getting him suspended.
Has it happens he has potentially broken the hopes of a nation that he is happy to take about 70k a week from.
