CRACKPOT minister David claims to be able to heal the DISABLED through the power of the Lord, we can reveal.

The father-of-four travelled to India in 2007 for the Jesus Miracle Festival.

As this sensational video shows, the 39-year-old used the event to promote his wacky views - which include claims that he can heal the sick and injured.

Screaming into a microphone, he claimed to be curing people who were blind, deaf or with broken bones.

One guest at the event told the News of the World: "It was so weird... he was like a man possessed. Like he can actually cure the disabled, just like that.

"I didn't really buy into it, to be honest. These poor people in India seemed to believe it but it looked like they just wanted a glimmer of hope and would have believed anything. I don't think it's fair."

David also believes in ghosts and UFOs, interpreting these beliefs as natural extensions of the scriptures.

And as it now appears he was once aligned with bizarre American religious group Sons of Thunder, his ideas seem even more unusual.

The founder of the group, John Crowder, believes he met Jesus while on an acid trip one night, prompting him to devote the rest of his life to the Lord.

Crowder regularly organizes bizarre worldwide missions to ritualistically 'cure' the disabled.

Following in the footsteps of the controversial American, David recently organised Christian rave-like party Sloshfest, which attracted hundreds of people from around the globe - all of them completely sober.

The ex-postman had drink and drugs problems as a teenager, until he found God in 1992. Since then, he has kicked the booze, and now urges followers to get high on "Godka".

He is now happily settled in Pontypool with his wife, children, dogs, chickens and rabbits.
