Default Anybody else's community taking a nosedive recently?

I'm so shocked right now!

Where I'm from was never paradise by any means but it was 'safe' compared to most other places. Everybody knows each other, friendly people etc.

Now all of a sudden it seems to have taken a turn for the worst!

There's strangers moving here from God knows where now so people no longer have 'good neighbours'.

In the last month there's been near-kidnappings, armed robberies, stabbings and failed suicide attempts (off a tourist attraction bridge may I add!)

& now this afternoon someone threw themselves off the Aqueduct which is right by me really and is also a world-famous attraction with tourists and holiday makers.

It's times like this I wish I had the money to get the **** out before it gets any worse.

----

Anyone else feeling like this about their area?! SUCH negativity.
