Bike Week - incorporating Bike2Work - is the UK’s nationwide co-ordinated promotion of ALL kinds of cycling.
For 2003, Bike Week is focussed on promoting local events and rides that appeal to new or ‘returning’ cyclists.
‘Returning’ cyclists are the 10 million people who already own a bike but only ride it occasionally. Is that you?
Most Bike Week events are free to enter and open to ALL cyclists. Some rides are to raise funds for charity.
All you need to participate in most events is a bike (why not hire one?), NO helmet and NO special clothing.
