UGANDAN GAETANO KAGWA TO ENTER THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE


Big Brother can now announce the identity of the African housemate who will be joining the Big Brother house as part of a swap with Cameron.

He is 30-year-old Gaetano Kagwa of Uganda. Nicknamed Gae (pronounced Guy), Gaetano is single, currently studying law and lives in Kampala. Gaetano has already caused a stir in the African Big Brother house by romancing housemate Abby from South Africa. African Big Brother fans have been debating as to how far Gae and Abby’s relationship has developed, after seeing them both under the blankets together on Saturday evening. A story on the official Big Brother Africa website bigbrotherafrica.com on Saturday June 21 reported, “The blanket did some very heavy duty heaving as Gaetano’s horizontal mambo began. Blanketed bottoms bounced up and down as the heavy breathing began in earnest.”

Gaetano was chosen to come to the UK as a reward for passing Saturday’s cocktail making challenge. He won with a cocktail he called The Question Mark and resorted to squeezing lemons by hand when the blender refused to work.

On hearing the news that he was to travel to the UK, a delighted Gaetano said,
“You are the man, Big Brother!” He was so overwhelmed, he could hardly say goodbye to his housemates.

Gaetano cites his hobbies as riding motorbikes, talking politics and listening to jazz. He’s keen on football, playing with friends most weekends. He is also keen on cooking. Gaetano is fluent in two languages and already has a degree in politics from the University of Wisconsin in the USA.

Gae says his hero is his father and if he won the African Big Brother prize money of $100,00 he would help his Dad pay off his debts. He also says he would donate some of the money to an Aids charity and eventually would have a blast spending some of it!

Gaetano will be entering the UK Big Brother house on Monday 23 June. E4 viewers will be able to watch him going in live, while Channel 4’s Big Brother’s Little Brother at 6pm will show also footage of his first day in his new home. Follow his progress daily on E4 and every night on Channel 4’s highlight shows at 10.00pm, from Tuesday to Thursday this week.
