Back then big brother was cool and nice. He gave the housemates rewards via America's vote or food competitons that were selected via America's vote.
Back in BB2 and BB3 it still felt like a social expirement as I think in the first week big brother gave the housemates a camera to record stuff in the big brother house. I think big brother gave them a half basketball court, a trampoline for Will, and they did in fact have a housepet for a while (a pot bellied pig that belonged to one of the housemates). Also the comps were creative and NOT RIGGED and in editing there wasn't music in every clip. Man i miss Arnold Sharpiro (BB2-BB7 head executive producer)
