Aston Villa are keeping tabs on Danish international Simon Poulsen.
The 27-year-old AZ Alkmaar left-sider is out of contract at the end of the season. Poulsen, who can play full-back or in midfield, is now attracting interest from a host of clubs. Aston Villa have now emerged as one of those keeping close tabs on him. It is understood that Villa scout Arthur Numan has already watched Poulsen on several occasions and delivered positive reports back to his bosses in the Midlands. .
