I don't like how they're being made out to be the next Beatles because they are the first British act to make No. 1 in America with a debut album.
Yes, it's No. 1 for now but something tells me they won't have any actual longevity and leave any kind of lasting impression in history let alone reach Adele's recent success nevermind the Beatles.
Don't get me wrong, good luck to them. As much as I can't stand them I'd also milk the cow for all I could get out of it but they're just a manufactured act. All the hard work is done for them by their "team" and then they just have to appear on TV and wink at the tween girls. Probably the fact they're foreign (to America) helps too.
But comparing them to the Beatles? Come on, how idiotic do people have to be.
