Big Brother star's blinking good time

Cries of "Oh my Goodddddd!" could be heard around the popular drinking hole The Avenue in Barnet recently, when local celebrity Helen Adams popped in for a drink.

As a contestant on Big Brother last year, she was known to millions, and there she was, in full view on a Saturday night without her Tweedledee (fellow Big Brother housemate and partner Paul Clarke). Helen was prepared to let rip - sipping champagne, singing along to Sophie Ellis-Bextor songs and raising the decibel level with a voice so high only a canine could understand it - and a Welsh canine at that.

However, Between The Lines was pleased to see the strangely attractive Helen out on the town, instead of spending the evening in, indulging her self-confessed favourite pastime: blinking.
