I got the impression a while ago that the Sun newspaper wanted to break up Helen & Paul, as they consider Paul surplus baggage.

The Don't Treat me like a Tart Paul headline is a case in point. I heard somewhere that she said she never said that, can anyone confirm that

They also tried to say that he had been two timing Helen with another blond, and then the blond showed up and pointed out she was with someone else and Paul was obsessed with Helen!

They could not prove Paul to be the cad they set him up as.

So change of tack....

Maybe, they might reason, if they camp on their doorstep long enough they will get P&H to consider that a life together is not worth the hassel, thus ensuring the break up News International seem hell bent on inducing.

If they succeed they will probably get away with it.
