It seems to me when certain things are said on tv on this show especially the other hm can choose to get offended and make a huge drama if they so wish.
take the time denise half pulled down someones pyjamas last year in CBB it ran into a 2 day long drunken bitchfest would ANYONE on the planet have reacted that strongly if it werent on tv and trying to get sympathy and attention? some people like deana put their foot in it with a prank like today, done to just have a laugh as theres nothing else to do but play around in there then luke decides to get angry and offended? the whole atmosphere makes people more paranoid, petty, touch , sensitive about their own ego etc when ash and shiv laughed at adams bloated body as he tried to exercise I found that offensive, some agreed some didnt. It seemed personal and deliberately cruel and devoid of any humour or redeeming features, others though it was harmless girl bitching...etc so as a viewer do you find what people say to offend more annoying overall or the the fact others choose to get offended more annoying? this seems like a snippet of our stupid media driven hysterical society, when a woman can get £300,000 damages if a male makes the odd slightly suggestive comment whereas other people who are truly exploited for years like unpaid carers who receive no support from health trusts get nothing and care for their elderly relatives 24 hours a day....the balance has been lost...and we seem to give too much attention to the people who go out of their way to either be offensive or to be offended. this is often attention seeking moronic behaviour that shouldnt reveive attention or reward Last edited by rinkydinkpanther; 28-06-2012 at 02:16 PM. |
