It could be worse.
She could've jumped right into having a "shomance" (with Adam) just like the bunny boiler who asked her the question is (and run to the loo crying on Conors' shoulder about how they have nothing in common, then go back to the room and give him the 5-finger massage.... ahem).
At least she's open and honest and proves that she's not trying to win the public vote by having a fake relationship.
