Default national poetry day today - is this news worthy ?

national poetry day 04.10.12

a beautiful day,
poetry is going to flow,
you can say it fast,
or hear it slow.
its all about expression,
the writer has there aim,
this is deadly serious,
not some silly game.
are you saying sorry,
is this this a apology,
or is it some nasty spiteful dig,
expressing your idioligogy.
do you need it out,
is your love going to bust,
you need to tell the person,
that you want to get old and with them rust.
or is it for fun,
and you you are just doing a "Eric Cantona",
"the sea galls will follow the trawler",
walk off and up with the collar.
what ever you want,
poetry please express,
its "National poetry" day today,
please reply on this forum in a style with no guess.

( hello everyone on this forum. i was watching the news this morning and guess what inspired this poem ? yes it was hearing it was national poetry day today. i have 2 questions to ask and they are ? do you think Eric was having us on or is he a real poet ? and can anyone remember this mans trade mark ? the clue is in the poem ? the person who gets it right and correctly guess Erics trade mark wins a exclusive poem from me.)
