A FAREWELL KISS

Boris is abandoning,
The ‘Kiss of Death’ right now!
She thinks it’s had it’s ‘hey day’,
Such fun it was ….and how !!!!!

BUT…

The ‘Admiral’ sank without a trace,
The ‘Captain’ hardly shows her face,
The ‘Sergeants’ too, are rarely here,
Then ‘Private Madonna’ went for a beer…..
( he never came back again . He is AWOL !)

AND…

All the other members of the ‘Barmy Army’ will,
Just take their ease,
On leave now please,
No duties to fulfill,
‘Big Sisters’ gone to baby sit,
I hope they’ll ALL remember it
With pleasure, and a little smile,
For time will pass, and in a while
We’ll think of something to beguile.

BECAUSE…

We need some fun,
It must be done,
For pleasure
In our leisure.

BUT….

Mr. Sticks will give a cheer,
He’ll not be sad,
You need not fear,
He’ll raise the flag,
He’ll bow us out,
With ‘HIP HOORAY’,
And jovial shout……(well he might !)

Our trivia will no longer send,
His studious mind right round the bend.

ALAS…

‘The Kiss of Death’ is almost done,
‘Twill lie in peace,
Be gone,
Be gone,
Be gone….but not forgotten !
