One of the most successful websites in the world, the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) names the top ten stars of 2012, as well as the top emerging stars, as determined by total page views on the popular movie database.

The site that has the ability to launch and crush Hollywood careers says its list is determined by total page views in 2012.

Leading the list is English thesp Tom Hardy, known for his roles in movies like Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, and Star Trek: Nemesis.

Jennifer Lawrence who took the number one spot last year, landed the number two spot on this year’s list.

Chris Hemsworth (#3), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (#4) and Christian Bale (#5) also scored high in the top ten, pushing Johnny Depp to his lowest-ranking ever (#7).
