Default The 1998 Data Protection act - Vital protection or Threat to life

This has appeared on the C4 forum. Any thoughts on this ?

Quote:
It seems now that operation of the 1998 Data Protection Act is to be reviewed in the light of these events

This seems a bizarre situation where legislation to protect people has ended up in loss of life.

Bad parliamentry draughting or further examples of the litigious society
