have you ever been mugged or attacked?
i was once mugged and beaten up whikst walking in harehills in leeds i was 16 and yards from my flat (dad kicked me out and had to live in a glat for 6 months at 16 long long story) any way a group of hoodies asked me for a quid to use the pay phone and started circling around me, i felt very intimidated and was worried so said no i havent and started to walk away from my flats direction as i didnt want them to see where i lived, anyway as i was walking off i felt a thud at the back of my head and turned around andwas punched in the face, i stumbled and hit the floor, i heard them saying in plastic gangsta accents "take his shoes" "take his shoes" which they did aswell as my back pack with my colledge work and walkmen in aswell as my wallet. obe of them theb said kick the effer in his head which one of them did before a takeaway shop worker chased them off.
i ended up at my sisters house with the takeaway bloke and ythe police followed it up and pretty much nothing else. no one was arrested for it or questioned.
i saw one of the lads a few weeks later whilst with my brother in law and we confronted him. he litterally pissed himself crying cos he was that scared and just started saying please mate dont hit me i just was there im sorry and dually gave me £20 quid and he went. i wouldnt of hit him ince we saw him crying but just wanted to make him feel like i did.
in hindsite spme may say i was as bad as those thugs that got me but at that moment intime i was young and just wanted revenge. i would never confront someone like that who was on their own now if i was woth someone
it was the worst experience of my life and pretty much scarred me for manymny years. i still get nervous when walking past groups of lads now.
so have you ever experienced anything similar?
