Big brother Lisa gets a nose job

PENARTH-born celebrity, Lisa Jeynes, has once again taken to our television screens, this time in a documentary, Plastic Surgery: Laid Bare, aimed at revealing the dark side of cosmetic surgery.

The 35-year-old star was first brought to our attention when she entered the Channel 4 Big Brother house last year. But was soon voted off the reality game show and found herself being verbally attacked with jibes about her Roman shaped nose.

After making the decision to have plastic surgery on her nose late last year, Lisa allowed cameras from the Sky 1 documentary, to follow her as she went through the surgery in Harley Street London.

She said: "I was always very conscious that I had a big nose, and I always said when I had a windfall then I would do something about it."

The purpose of the surgery was to reform her Roman nose into a more desirable shape in an attempt to rid her of the hurtful name calling she had experienced.

"They asked me if I could think of two noses that I liked. I said Caprice and Jennifer Anniston, who have both had their noses done. I wanted my nose to be straight with a little twist." said the star.

The two-part documentary, which was shown on Sunday, January 11, looked at various types of cosmetic surgery including: tummy tucks, facelifts, collagen implants and botox. And it followed a variety of Hollywood starlets and London stars in their quest for ultimate beauty.

Even though Lisa is very happy with her new nose she will admit the process was long and painful, she said: "It has still not settled down properly so if anyone touches it the pain is immense."
