Default Ant and Dec

Ant and Dec stitch-up Corrie cast

Ant and Dec will be seen winding up the cast of Coronation Street on this week's Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.

The pair spent four hours in make-up being transformed into two Japanese TV reporters obsessed with Todd Grimshaw, played by Bruno Langley.

The pair tell the cast they're in Manchester to report on a deal in which the soap has been sold to a Japanese broadcaster. It means the soap will be seen in 50 billion homes.

Viewers will see Todd overwhelmed with the attention from the two journalists, who shout his name and fire questions at him during filming. He tries to answer professionally before being kissed twice on the lips by Keiko (Ant).

The cast were told the soap had been sold, and were shown how the show would look to Japanese viewers if it was dubbed or subtitled. Stars including Keith Duffy and Sally Lindsey recorded messages in Japanese for fans.
