Yeah, CBS is kinda cheap sometimes. The producers state the reason why they haven't switched yet is because HD takes up alot of data on their database but personally I think it's because CBS are cheapskates.

The Set is actually a brand new set. The audience used to sit in front of the house and directly on camera. This last ep was the first ep where a live crowd was there at the launch.

I don't think they were there the whole time for the endurance competition.

Our evictions are a bit more low key. Basically they show highlights inbetween live segments with Julie. They have a segment where they talk to HGs loved ones from home. (Usually involving one of the nominees or HoH). About 30 minutes in they start the eviction process. All nominees make a last plea with the houseguests and then everyone that can vote go into the DR and cast their vote to evict live. Sometimes in the middle they go to a break and then after that they finish the voting.

Then Julie talks to the house saying "Hello Houseguests, It's time to reveal the results, When I announce the results the evicted houseguest will have 1 minute to say their goodbyes, grab their belongings (Their bags are placed by the front door and nominees are instructed to pack their bags the night before) and walk out the front door. By A Vote of 5-2 Rachel You have been evicted from the big brother house."

Then the house gets all awkward and the evictee leaves. The crowd can boo the evictee but it has never happened on BBUSA. In fact if you do boo, you'll probably get dirty looks.

The last part is the HoH comp. Which is usually Trivia based because I think they want to give people what to expect for the next ep. Sometimes it's endurance and it's played out on the feeds.

After that Julie gives the schedule out for the week. (Watch Big Brother at this time to see who'll the HOH nom, Etc.) sometimes she lets us know if there's a twist like a Pandora's Box (sometimes they don't) or if the next eviction will be a double (Which are fun to watch. They fit a whole week of BB into 30 mins.)

Basically Pandora's Box offers the Hoh something. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad. Usually if the HoH receives something good then something evil will be released upon the house. Or sometimes the HoH gets punished and the house gets something good.
