I can't stress how important next season is for BR. He holds all the aces, but whether FSG pull that hand from him remains to be seen (I think they're a bunch of idiots personally). If he finishes in the same position as this season, that's his job gone imo. Can you see Liverpool finishing much higher without Suarez?
If you get to £50, then you have a real chance, but I think it will need to break the record for the club to justify selling him to the team most likely to drop out of the top 4 out of all of them. Although secretly I'm hoping the Moyesiah doesn't let me down.

when negotiating a fee for a player between the two clubs dont they usually already know about any release clauses? i never knew there was a rule about not knowing clauses and clubs weren't meant to know about them? loads of players have their release clauses revealed to clubs and the media seem to know them, just the other day it was announced Saldado wouldn't leave unless his 26M buyout clause was met..
