Dexter's feels rejected.

Reckon he's thought
"Right, I've no chance (with Charlie) so I'm gonna do something to put me in the limelight."

Guess they've both using each other and it's a battle for public sympathy now.
See how Dex reacted angrily when Charlie was crying ?

I reckon there's no real friendship and he just wanted a showmance.

Give it a few days and they won't be speaking to each other...
