Default I\'m a celeb get me into REHAB [Caprice]

I'm a celeb get me into REHAB
SUPERMODEL Caprice Bourret has checked into The Priory rehab clinic — the latest in a long line of celebs seeking professional help.

The California-born beauty is undergoing addiction therapy and is also being counselled for depression.

Caprice, 35, checked into the centre in South West London last week.

The news came as Celeb Big Brother bully Jade Goody yesterday returned to the clinic for another rehab session.

Jade, 25, is battling depression, insomnia and shock after making allegedly racist comments about Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty on the Channel 4 reality show last month.

She was set to spend weeks in the clinic, but walked out after five days then agreed to continue as a day patient.

Pals of Caprice urged her to seek help after becoming concerned for her welfare.

One said: “Caprice has had a tough time. She has been feeling very low.

“Her career has stalled and she’s not getting any younger.”

Pals also said Caprice felt publicly humiliated when she was convicted of drink-driving after being stopped in the early hours.

The pal added: “Her friends were getting increasingly concerned about her health and she was urged to seek help. That’s how she ended up in The Priory.”

The model — who became a national icon as the face and figure of Wonderbra — is the latest celeb to hit the rehab “craze”.

Robbie Williams is currently undergoing treatment in an Arizona clinic for his addiction to prescription drugs.

He made the announcement last week and is at the Meadows centre where Kate Moss was treated for cocaine abuse.

Britney Spears checked herself in and out of a clinic in Antigua in the space of just 24 hours last week. And The Darkness singer Justin Hawkins was treated for cocaine addiction at The Priory last year, as was Keane frontman Tom Chaplin.

C-list celebs and wannabes are also filling clinics, fuelling suspicions many are simply after a quick publicity fix.

Caprice was one of the biggest names in Britain through her Wonderbra connection in the late 1990s — and dropped her last name because she was so well known.

She dated a host of famous names, including Rod Stewart and Arsenal star Tony Adams, while making millions from modelling. But that work has started to dry up.

Her 2005 stint on Celeb Big Brother did little to boost her career.

She lost her driving licence in August after downing two bottles of wine over 17 hours.

The model was caught behind the wheel of her black Mercedes SLK in the early hours in central London.

The court heard that when the cop who pulled her over asked her name, she replied simply: “Caprice.” The baffled PC asked: “Caprice who?”

In court she claimed that her alcohol reading was distorted by drugs she was taking for cystitis. The claim was thrown out.
