Default Smiling Britney is on the mend

Rehab actually seems to be working wonders for Britney Spears, after she emerged smiling and laughing from the Promises rehab centre for a meeting.

In stark contrast to the bald, raging, umbrella wielding singer that entered rehab last week, Britney showed off a big smile, a natural coloured wig and wore a baker boy cap.

Evidence the singer has been clearing her mind was plain to see, as she showed off a series of child-like pen scribbles over her hands.

One drawing said the word 'push' and other illustrations included a floral pattern and a ring around her index finger.

Britney was ushered back into rehab last week after her father, Jamie, said she was a 'very sick girl'.

The mother of two has received support from her ex-husband Kevin Federline, who has visited Britney at the centre with their two children Jayden James and Sean Preston.

Her meltdown was said to be sparked by rumours K-Fed had applied for an emergency custody hearing of the two boys last week.

However, any such hearing has now been delayed until Spears completes her rehabilitation programme, which some say could take over a month.
