[Hooly One]

Jason once described himself as "one of the vainest people in the world".

And tonight he lived up to the reputation and then some - during a mammoth thirty minute shave and moisturise session, which only ended when fellow housemate Stuart interrupted.

At 23:25 the shirt-shy Scot entered the Big Brother Treatment Room casually clutching a hand towel and an immaculate cosmetics case.

But there was nothing casual about Jason's next manoeuvre - the laying out of his shaving equipment, filling of sink with water and studying of face in mirror with military precision.

With strokes that would have made the renaissance artists proud, the Glaswegian set about ridding his jaw line of re-growth, pausing every three or four grazes to stare intently at his reflection, turning slowly from side to side, never once taking his eyes off his reflection.

Because I'm worth it


Twelve minutes later, and Jason - judging by the grin on his face - was rather pleased with what he was looking at.

A few flicks of his razor around the eyebrow region - conducted with such precision to suggest this was not the first time the Scot had touched up his caterpillars - and the razor was rinsed thoroughly, wiped on towel and placed carefully back in his little navy carry case.

Then came the real action. With slow, deliberate, upward strokes, Jason massaged moisturiser and "auto bronze" into every facial pore...and continued to do so for another ten whole minutes.

He was still absorbed in the oiling process when Stuart stumbled into the bathroom under the pretext of trying to "find a secret door" and disturbed Jason's love affair with himself.

Unperturbed, the 30-year-old packed up his toilet bag...and went to bed.
