Bailiffs have apparently threatened to raid the Celebrity Big Brother UK house in order to get at Dappy.



The N-Dubz star is said to have owed debt collectors a bill of more than £6,000 and had been prepared to enter the house in Elstree, North London to serve the rapper with court papers.

It has previously been reported that Dappy had taken up a role in this year’s CBB line up in a bid to avoid bankruptcy after being hit with a £100,000 tax bill, although this latest incident was concerning another separate debt.

“His management got an irate call from bailiffs who said they were fed up hunting for him,” a source claimed today. “His appearance on CBB had basically been winding up the creditors — so they were planning to go to the house to serve him with court papers.

“His people were worried it would have made him look ridiculous — so paid the bill.”


Speaking to The Sun newspaper today, the supposed source added: “They will just have to sort it all out with him once he gets out of the house.”

It’s been a bad twelve months for UK trio N-Dubz, having split up to pursue solo projects.

Tulisa found herself axed from The X Factor before being charged with drug offences while her and Dappy’s bandmate Fazer has been forced to declare himself bankrupt
