Dust off your leather pants and get your hair spray at the ready because Grease is coming!
Thousands have auditioned, but there can be only one Danny and Sandy treading the boards in the West End. From the good, the bad, and the ugly wannabes, to the two who will ultimately take the coveted roles, you guys will get to follow our hopefuls every step of the way. But there's a harsh panel of critics just desperate to reveal a few home truths. Renowned theatre producer David Ian is putting his reputation on the line by casting two unknowns in the lead roles. And he's going to have a little bit of help from his friends. I'm a Celebrity's very own David Gest will be imparting his pearls of wisdom, as will choreographer Brian Friedman and West End star Sinitta. And overseeing the whole thing is Grease superfan, Zoe Ball. "I remember seeing Grease for the first time when I was 7 years old and I loved it," Zoe confessed. "I learnt all the songs off by heart, and I just wanted to be one of the pink ladies at Rydell High, they were so cool! "I've watched Grease over and over since that special day when I queued for ages outside the cinema, and I am just as hopelessly devoted to it now as I was back then." Who will get to play the lead roles in one of the world's favourite musicals? We'll just have to wait and see. One thing is for sure: we've got chills, and they're multiplying. http://grease.itv.com/ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- sounds better then the BBC crap |
