Default Justin Bieber waxwork removed after being worn away from groping fans touching him up

The 19-year-old's replica has been retired due to fans' wandering hands but don't worry because Madam Tussauds want a new Bieber

Justin Bieber and the waxwork allegedly posing as him
Justin Bieber has been retired forever - or at least his waxwork has.

The waxwork of the 19-year-old pop prince has been removed by Madam Tussauds in New York after it began to wear away through being touched up too much by fans.

That and because it no longer really looks like the troubled pop star - though it's debatable whether it ever did - after he chopped off his weave, added the odd a load of tattoos and put on a bit of muscle.

The statue shows Justin when he was younger and, despite regular maintenance, "it no longer does justice either to the star or to the attraction," reports Page Six.

Madame Tussauds general manager, Bret Pidgeon, said: "This is disappointing, but hopefully we can welcome a new grown-up Justin back to the attraction in the near future."

Meanwhile, the Baby hitmaker - who has been charged with driving under the influence, driving with an expired license and resisting arrest after he was caught allegedly drag racing in Miami last month - sent his fans into meltdown yesterday after he quietly changed his name to Bizzle on Instagram following reports he is planning a career in rap.

However, the news didn't go down well with rapper Lethal Bizzle, who accused him of stealing his name.

Lethal sent The Sun newspaper a statement, reading: "Myself and the DENCH Gang ain't happy about it. Nothing cool about the cheesiest boy in pop using your name to be 'cool'. He needs to #Leaveityeah! #Justinthiefer."
