Is "Kimberly and Steven" a SHOWmance?

Are we watching a genuine relationship between 2 human beings?
If you wanted to create a SHOWmance, you wouldn't make it a normal relationship would you? You would make it weird and wacky and throw in bonking and ex lovers, the works.

Who is pulling the strings? Steven? Kimberly? or Big Brother?
