Does "well at least she drove the story" matter if...
if the story was ****?
This series was an abomination. The cast was awful, production was awful, etc etc. I think enough has been said about this season, and most people agree that 12 and 15 are the two worst ever. But somehow in spite of this, Aaron, and there's at least a vocal support group for Helen, are two of the most popular winners on this forum, mainly for reasons such as "well at least they were entertaining!" and "they provided talking points!" and "they drove the story! Aaron/Helen was BB12/BB15!"
I just don't understand the dichotomy of "12 and 15 were the two worst series ever, BUT they had the best winners ever :3" Like, yes BB12 was All About Aaron and BB15 was All About Helen but they were both awful series as a result of that. Why is it a good thing for someone to "drive the narrative" if it's a **** narrative that many people have stated they aren't enjoying?
