IMO, having two nominees is so much better. I just prefer the whole head-to-head feel that evictions used to have. It made it eviction nights a lot more tense.
I can understand having a minimum of three nominees if they're going to have a VTS, but what is the point when it's a VTE with civilian BB anyway.
I think the main reasons why they have three nominees is that it makes them more money (more voters and they can freeze the phone lines) and it allows them to be more ambiguous with the rules because they never made a clear announcement about it.
