I think there was a misunderstanding in his first argument with Gary. When Leslie put on the rubber glove and James leaned over and said 'I assume the position' he didn't mean it as a gay joke, he was referring to getting into position for a doctor's examination of the prostate where the doctor inserts a finger...(the glove and bending over joke.)
Gary took it as a gay thing and said about getting butt ******* and it went downhill from there....that was my reading of it anyway.  |
My take is that it was a gay thing, Leslie is gay and I thought it rather bad of James to bend over like that.
