He is very brave tbh as not one of them, with the exception of Frenchy, have any time for him. He is trying to put over the factor of forgiveness, do not hurt another but of course, it is the BB house where nastiness is the play of the day. It wont gel in there as they read something different into his words.
Judy James looks for someone winning, her choice was Dee! She never won a thing because she did not understand what he was trying to say, she just talked him down then could not finish the debate, she was a coward. She went back to her sheep pen.
With James it is a task, possibly for the benefit of the cameras, I think deep down when he thinks about it he may eventually have some respect for Gary. Gary tends to go to him and James, even though he wont admit it, felt for Gary in the balloon test. James is just another part of the sheep pen and another coward.

James Jordan has a clear problem with authority and deep down is a scared little boy, notice he finds great solace in the friendship of George, a non threatening Beta Male. Where upon he actively seeks confrontation with most of the other males in the house. ( I wonder if he was abused when he was smaller or bullied at school, he's showing all the symptoms of one of those two?) Or maybe it's because he was booted of strictly- after many warnings- by older men with grey hair.
I had a grandad who was deaf and of course old, and it was an effort repeating yourself time and time again, but not once did I get angry with him or treat him like he was some buffoon. You just have to be more patient and understanding after all " walk a mile in their shoes" and for those that have noted the Irish girl for her understanding are correct, in as much, it doesnt' take an awful lot to have a bit of time to talk to someone. You also, and a lot of people are conveniently forgetting, is that this man has brain damage. Now this alters you in so many ways, mood swings, forgetfulness etc, { You could argue strongly that if that is the case then he shouldn't be in there, but he is} so they have to deal with it.
If you took Gary away from CBB, it would be a whole poorer place with out him imho.
