The housemates have a new task this afternoon - a poetry slam!

Housemates,

Today's part of the weekly task will test your creative skills. You must now get into pairs and spend the next two hours writing a poem about your partner, based upon what you have learnt about them during your time in the Big Brother House. Blackboards and chalk have been provided to help you write your poem.

Later on today each pair will perform their poems in a 'Poetry Slam'.

Please read the rules below carefully.

RULES:

Housemates must organise themselves into pairs.

Each housemate must write their poem about the other housemate in their pair.

You are free to decide the style and content of the poem, but it should be a minimum of eight lines long.

Housemates may use the blackboard and chalk provided to write the poems, but must commit their poems to memory for the performance.

Housemates have two hours to write and memorise their poem.

Housemates must only write their poems upon the blackboards and must not use the chalk on any other surfaces.

Using your poem to communicate messages to the outside world is strictly forbidden, will constitute a breach of the Big Brother rules and will result in failure of the task.

Any housemate failing to comply with these instructions will fail the task.

Your two hours will begin now.
