It seems to be the biggest charity drive in the UK and gets by far the most money. And next week on C4 they're having the Stand up to Cancer thing and telling people to give as much money as possible. I'm just wondering what difference is it making? And why it requires so much money? When asked about what difference it's making the fundraiser gives a vague reply about they're closer than ever to finding the cure but we just need more money.

Now I know this is an emotive subject but I'm only asking questions because of the way some charities run. I know it's a great cause and obviously I'd love a cure to be found. But where's all this money actually going?
