I really don't get why anyone hates/dislikes the man. It baffles me because he's constantly been nothing but kind and nice to any and everyone within the house. He only retorts when someone attacks him and 100% of the time has simply been defending his own opinion.

He's not on the ****ing fence because he's making the point that the ****ing fence shouldn't be there to begin with. Why should he have to pick a side if he has no problem with either one.

I find it absolutely ridiculous when people both in and outside the house on BBBOTS go on about how much of a 'fence sitter' or 'non-entity' he is.

He's had some of the funniest and genuine moments out of EVERYONE in the entire house. The man was an alcoholic himself and is constantly surrounded in the house with booze temptations, as well as drunk assholes. He's had enough **** to deal with during his lifetime and doesn't act like someone who stays on the 'fence' for petty reasons like winning Big Brother. He acts like a recovered alcoholic who truly knows that life is too short for the petty squabbles going off in there 24/7.

I admire him for refusing to ride everyone else's waves and really want to see him win. He's had so many great moments both hilarious and serious and has not once yielded to anyone else in there.

I know BBBOTS is generally lighthearted but I disliked that they took the piss out of him crying, that was so far below the belt it was touching his ****ing feet.

Indeed op and if you were discussing a student flat I would agree but this is an entertainment game show and as such he needs to do a lot more than be nice and ask his higher power for serenity.
