Default BB4 is responsible for the end of the social experiment.

BB4 launched to its highest figures ever riding on the crest of the BB3 wave.

After the first 3 days however it became obvious things were not going as planned as Dermot said "I walked into the studio on Monday and asked whats been going on and the response was.....ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING".

The casting was terrible, they cast people who would all get along as they thought BB3 was to dark and needed more fun back. If they wanted fun then they needed to get people with persoanlitys the mistake they made is thinking funny and nice were the same thing.

When viewing figures started to slide this is really the first time we saw Big Brother truly start to manipulate, go against the fundamental rules and starting to use as advertised epic twists.

-Cameron Leaving the house for an African swap (I mean c'mon he left the house and flew to another country this totally broke the whole concept of the show of being locked up in 1 house filmed 24/7)

-A double eviction: This was purely BB trying to claw back viewers yet ended up in them losing their 2 most talked about housemates.

-Jon re-entering the house: As above another attempt to claw back viewers and at the time this was quite sad to watch as only 12 months before BB was a blockbuster and untouchable and now we were watching obvious desperation from producers being aired live at 9pm.

Finally the bomb scare: This made prime time news on every channel and did the trick with viewers tuning back in briefly.

For a series that is remembered as the most boring ever a hell of a lot of twists were pulled out of the bag by the producers which all failed proving that Big Brother is all about the casting as we saw in BB5 where they cast people who would 100% clash with one and other.

BB4 may be remembered as the most boring but this is the series where the producers truly started to make the show gimmicky with its secret task rooms and multiple twists.
