Yobs give me Big Bother NEW housemate Seány O’Kane was brutally beaten up after starring on a Northern Ireland version of Big Brother.Charity worker Seány, 25, was attacked in his home city of Londonderry by a mob who wanted to end his television career. Sean — who is believed to be gay — ended up with a haemorrhaged eye after the yobs kicked him mercilessly. Seány said: “They kicked me in the face and one said, ‘That will put an end to your career’. I couldn’t see out of my left eye. I couldn’t believe anyone would attack me just because I was on TV.” The assault came after Seány, then aged 20, took part in a TV experiment for ITV1’s Tonight show in May 2002. He was one of four Catholics filmed spending a week with four Protestants on the Isle of Man — and met host Sir Trevor McDonald. Seány’s uncle, drug-dealer Christopher O’Kane, was shot dead by the IRA in 2001. Seány now lives in Manchester and has a new long-haired look. He describes himself as having big hair and big attitude and hopes to one day live in a TREE in the Lake District. He also admits that he loves Girls Aloud and says that his dream job would be inventing and testing toys.[/qutoe] Source: The Sun |
