Millionaire's secret heartache

BIG Brother millionaire Jonathan Durden is nursing a secret heartache — the death of his wife.

He had been married to Laura Naska Durden for 18 years before she was found dead in 2003 after suffering from anorexia.

The advertising executive — worth £5million — fell into depression after her death and ended up in The Priory. His daughter Amy has also been in the clinic with problems.

A pal said: “Jonathan can be very bubbly but he’s had more than his share of personal hell. Losing his wife was a massive blow. His way of getting over it was to hit the party scene.

“He’s one of those mad, creative types who always live life on the edge. He became quite a hit with the ladies — he was very, very successful. His s******g exploits are legendary.”

Pals claim the portly 49-year-old Essex man — who has two daughters — used “mind techniques” to bed women.

The so-called strategic thinker spent years trying to get into the thoughts of the public to help firms sell their products.

He has now found love with a publishing executive and the pair are set to marry when BB finishes after postponing their summer wedding.

Vintage car lover Jonathan wrote a novel loosely based on his life where the main character beds a series of women.

He claims he has never seen BB and his motivation for going on is “ego”. Pals say he is bound to wind up the housemates.
