Default What demographic are they looking for

The producers of BB are obviously designing the show with a specific demographic in mind, but what is that demographic. It would appear to me, that the order of the day seems to be built and designed around sex and violence masquerading under the banners of romance and conflict.

The type of people interested in those issues seems to be a very narrow and specific target market. The problem therein is that for the most part, these people don't have the wherewithal to spend loads on votes and to a degree, tend to support the Speidi's and the Perez's of this world.

That being said, the Jeremy Kyle / Geordie shore type audiences seem to be more interested in a type of program that does not represent the typical demographic of the fans that have supported BB for so long. It leads me to believe that The BB producers have decided to scrap the show as we know it and turn it into a free for all and a breeding ground for lowlifes and the scum of society.

The funny tasks, the naturally occurring conflict and the storylines that tend to develop when the show is left alone, all seem to be a thing of the past and these idiots in charge seem to think we all want to watch a scripted show that is full of people we wouldn't give the time of day to.

When are they going to understand that people like Perez and the speidi's of this world, are little more than unpaid actors that make their money from designed conflict and forced storylines that, in the main, make for uncomfortable viewing for the many die hard fans that have stuck by BB for many years.

Personally I am considering switching off for the next series because the show has departed and veered off the road in a different direction to the show I loved and used to look forward to watching. Anyone that enjoyed the last few days contributions from BB is (IMO) not that interested in the show as a reality show, but probably prefer something different.

BB .........RIP.
