When I said that Joel didn't force "that" out of her, I was talking about the content of her response rather than the response itself. Joel absolutely asks too many questions and is a push asshole, but he didn't force Sarah to express
that. Her sentiment would be harrowing to hear from anyone, but especially from A) a woman and B) someone who aspires to be a lawyer.
