From The Daily Star
BIG Brother’s hungry housemates are being banned from sleeping in an evil new task to win food. The gang must stay awake for a total of 60 hours – until tomorrow night at 10pm. And they have been warned that if they snooze – they lose. BB bosses told the stunned contestants last night that this week’s shopping task – to bag a luxury food budget if they pass or basic rations if they flunk – would really push them to the limit. The sleep deprivation challenge will be a killer for this year’s contestants who have been used to morning lie-ins and afternoon snoozes. Under the task rules, the 14 remaining housemates will only be allowed a total of three hours nap time among them until the test ends. To make life even worse for the snoozy group, BB chiefs have turned the house into a sleep haven. The contestants must wear white pyjamas, white dressing gowns and slippers and they have all been given teddy bears. And producers have filled the place with cushions and bean bags, white bedding and “Sleep” signs. To add to their woes, they were asked to do eviction nominations in the early hours of this morning when they would normally have been hitting the sack. The group will be able to earn extra hours’ kip by “counting sheep” – they must become sheep and jump over fences in the garden. |
