Before she was a household name and the queen of Instagram, it seems Kim Kardashian-West had a penchant for a good name drop herself.

Complex magazine have re-released an interview with Kim Kardashian-West from 2007, when she was the cover star in the publication's February/March issue.

The socialite, who is currently pregnant with her second child with husband Kanye West, made sure to name drop her celebrity friends in the interview, particularly former best pal Paris Hilton.

When asked what kind of things she saw at parties, Kim said: “The other night Paris [Hilton] went to Area, and next to us was Britney’s [Spears] table and I was walking around and I saw Justin [Timberlake] and I was like, “Ah! We have to wait and see if there’s a dance-off!” I wanted to go home, but I’m not gonna lie, I stayed a little bit longer. There wasn’t a dance-off.”

She was also asked whether she was dating rapper The Game or Mariah Carey’s now-ex husband Nick Cannon, to which she replied with another anecdote about Paris Hilton.

“I’m gonna have to get back to you on that one," she said.

"Me and Paris and the girls are trying to stay single for one year.”

The interview also brought into question the infamous sex tape with ex-boyfriend Ray J, which Kim was quick to deny.

“There is no sex tape," she said.

"Ray J’s not the kind of guy who would do something for revenge. There is no amount of money that could ever convince me to release any tape, even if I had one. I don’t need the money.”
